National Sweater Day fashion show WWF Canada February 3, 2011 Share: Share This Page: Share with Facebook Share via Twitter Share via Linkedin Share in email By Ryley Murray Communications Intern Taking place at Toronto’s hottest new bowling bar, The Ballroom, this show was a great way for WWF to share our messages about climate change in an exciting new way. Our fabulous models strutted up and down the bowling lanes wearing eco-friendly sweaters, which were generously donated by various Canadian designers. © George Pimentel Photography/WWF-Canada These beautiful, unique sweaters will be auctioned on eBay on February 10 so preview them here and pick your favourite: And as if the joyful models, colorful sweaters, and bowling alley weren’t fun enough, all the WWF-ers in attendance added to the funky feel of the evening by wearing tacky sweaters themselves! Check out some of these hilarious pictures of our staff sporting their best ugly sweaters . Okay, so the sweaters weren’t exactly high fashion, like the ones spotted on the runway, but they certainly kept us warm. We all agreed that if Canadians actually donned their favourite woolies all winter, turning down the thermostat three degrees would become part of our daily routine.
