Christmas Light exchange programs bring cheer and reduces energy! WWF November 19, 2008 Share: Share This Page: Share with Facebook Share via Twitter Share via Linkedin Share in email In chatting with one of the group leaders I’m working with, she mentioned there was a Christmas light swap in Midtown Toronto. If you bring two strings of your old inefficient lights, they will give you a brand new string of LED lights! Isn’t that fantastic? What a way to start the holiday season! This is an initiative through the local hydro company, but in doing some research, I’ve found similar programs across Ontario. If you’d like to see whether there is one in your local community, do a key word search for the name of your city or town and ‘Christmas light exchange’. You can also try calling your local hydro supplier, and if they don’t have a light swap now, they may consider it when enough people enquire.
