Help Save Tigers From Extinction with WWF-Canada’s Adopt a Tiger Program

This holiday season, World Wildlife Fund Canada (WWF-Canada) is using the Internet to help stop the slide into extinction of these magnificent creatures. By logging on to WWF-Canada’s website (www.wwfcastg.wwf.ca), Canadians can symbolically adopt a tiger for someone they love – and give a gift to the world.

For $40, adoptive tiger “parents” will receive a colourful and educational tiger adoption kit that includes a personalized adoption certificate, a letter that identifies the gift giver, a four-page report that details the work that is being funded to save tigers – and a cuddly, plush baby tiger.

Funds raised through the symbolic adoption program will help WWF continue its work to protect the world’s remaining tigers by protecting their natural habitats and halting the black-market trade in tiger parts and products.

Adoption kits can be purchased from WWF-Canada for $40 (plus a $5 courier fee) on-line at www.wwfcastg.wwf.ca or by calling 1-800-26-PANDA.
