Important moves for WWF in Canada WWF June 24, 2017 Share: Share This Page: Share with Facebook Share via Twitter Share via Linkedin Share in email WWF-Canada is making office moves. In Toronto, we have moved from 245 Eglinton Avenue East, our uptown home since 1998, to a new downtown address at 410 Adelaide St. West, just west of Spadina Ave. The new head office is brighter, better designed and less expensive to lease and operate. It’s also closer to where more of our staff live, closer to the Union Station transit hub and accessible by more transit lines, making staff travel more efficient. With increased bicycle storage, additional shower facilities and limited on-site car parking, it will encourage more environmentally friendly commuting options, lowering our collective environmental footprint. Overall, it provides a better working environment, allowing WWF-Canada to attract and retain top talent. In British Columbia, we’ve put staff where they are most needed. Our Vancouver office has moved from 409 Granville St. to 425 Carrall St. We’ve opened a new office in Victoria and have outposts in Smithers for our work on the Skeena River and estuary, and in Nanaimo focused on ocean conservation. As with Toronto, these moves will allow the team to be more effective — and will save money too. We continue to have a strong presence in Inuvik, N.W.T.; Iqaluit, Nunavut; St. John’s, N.L.; Halifax, Fredericton; Montreal; and Ottawa. Across Canada and internationally, we are working hard to address the major challenges to nature. We look forward to your continued support.
