Eleven reasons you’ll want (to be at) Pandamonium
WWF-Canada’s inaugural Pandamonium party on June 23 promises to be an unforgettable night of music, bold culinary offerings, art and nature. Here are the top 11 reasons why wildlife lovers and wild party animals alike want (to be at) Pandamonium — and why you should be there too.
1. Move and be moved by an exclusive performance by The Strumbellas
Juno Award-winning folk rockers The Strumbellas will have you singing along to their hit song Spirits from the band’s new album, Hope.
2. Immerse yourself in a world of Doom and Bloom by Moment Factory
Internationally renowned digital masterminds Moment Factory have enthralled millions with their exciting blend of video, architecture, light, sound and special effects. They’ve created immersive multimedia experiences for musicians from Arcade Fire to Jay-Z, festivals, special events and exclusive retail spaces. Watch to find out what they have in store at Pandamonium.
3. Taste the future of sustainable cuisine
If you crave a unique culinary experience, be one of the first to savour offerings from the jellyfish snack bar created by Chef Haan Palcu-Chang for Pandamonium. While many marine species are on the decline, the number of jellyfish in our oceans are on the rise. This has some people asking whether it’s time to think of these exotic, collagen- and protein- rich creatures as the next staple of our diets.
4. Be inspired by provocative art installations
Beneath our Shorelines by LeuWebb Projects will transform marine debris into strange, mutated forms that are a far cry from the rich natural diversity of our oceans. Although jellyfish may be here to stay, the consequences of human waste on aquatic life are far-reaching.
5. Reconnect with the plant kingdom
At Pandamonium, flora are invited to the human party, as a reminder of the magnificence and resilience of the natural world. Breathe deeply as you encounter the collaborative efforts of florist Jordana Masi and designer Graham Teeple. Jordana’s flower company White Oak creates stunning arrangements for weddings and events, and collaborates with top floral artists across the continent. Recently she and others transformed an abandoned Detroit house into a massive work of art with 36,000 flowers. As a professional gardener, curator and plant designer, Graham draws attention to plants as living things as well as aesthetic objects. Graham co-curated Grow Op 2016, the Gladstone Hotel’s annual exhibition exploring landscape, urbanism and contemporary art.
6. Enjoy complimentary food and beverages
Indulge in complimentary food and beverages by Mill Street Brewery, Polar Ice Vodka and EastDell Wines.

7. Experience the duality of nature with an operatic duet
International opera star Teiya Kasahara and award-winning soprano Lisa Di Maria will capture both the primordial wrath and calming beauty of nature with a Doom and Bloom inspired duet. This Pandamonium exclusive performance incorporates Mozart’s famous Hell’s Revenge (the Queen of the Night aria from The Magic Flute), and the joyously uplifting Flower Duet (from Lakmé by Léo Delibes).
8. Make it a corporate affair
Reward your star performers, network with Toronto trendsetters and philanthropists or simply delight in a night out with colleagues. Pandamonium corporate packages include discounted ticket pricing, name recognition as a Friend of Wildlife and other exciting perks.
9. Treat yourself to the VIP experience
Pandamonium VIP tickets give you access to a special VIP area, VIP gift bag (with goodies from Drake General Store, Stella & Dot, Entomo Farms and more), a one-of-a-kind wildlife encounter, plus an intimate culinary presentation by MasterChef Canada culinary judge Claudio Aprile.
10. You could go home with an adventure of a lifetime
While Pandamonium is an adventure of its own, the evening’s silent auction offers partygoers the chance to embark on journeys of another kind. Items include a nine-day Amazon Riverboat adventure from G Adventures, a VIA Rail trip from Toronto to Vancouver and a stay at Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo.
11. And most important, support our conservation efforts
Our planet’s wildlife populations have declined by 52 per cent since 1970. But environmental organizations receive less than 3 per cent of charitable donations in Canada. When you purchase tickets to Pandamonium, you’re supporting our efforts to protect vital species and habitats and create solutions to the environmental challenges that matter most to Canadians.
