Happy Sweater Day! WWF Canada February 17, 2011 Share: Share This Page: Share with Facebook Share via Twitter Share via Linkedin Share in email It’s a balmy 7 degrees here in Toronto, which means that many people were able to turn their thermostats down a little more than 3 degrees. Way up north in Whitehorse, Nigel Allan from our international team tweeted that it was -35 degrees Celsius – so he really needed that sweater! WWFers visited Loblaw locations in Toronto, Montreal and Halifax this morning, and were treated to a sweater-shaped treat. Cake for breakfast? A heck of a start to any day, if you ask me. (c) Riannon John/WWF-Canada I’m still sifting through dozens of #SweaterDay tweets on Twitter, and happy to see that National Sweater Day is being embraced – and speaking of embraces, GIANT panda hugs to all of you. Visit us on Facebook for some great photos from our staff and supporters – and share pics of your quirky sweaters with us too!
