How to host a National Sweater Day party at your office or school WWF January 23, 2013 Share: Share This Page: Share with Facebook Share via Twitter Share via Linkedin Share in email Last year, National Sweater Day celebrations spread far and wide on February 9. From students at Dalhousie University to MPs on Parliament Hill to the team at the City of Prince George, we heard wonderful stories about Canadians turning their thermostats down and their sweaters up. (And seen some amazing photos – be sure to check out the ones on our Facebook album!) The gang at Fundraising Initiatives Canada gets in on the Sweater Day Action. Here in the WWF-Canada Toronto office, we wrapped up the day with our office celebration, which featured one of Loblaws’ delicious cakes decorated with the WWF panda logo, and some sweater cookies. Want to throw a Sweater Day party in your workplace or school? Check out sweaterday.ca to download some resources (posters, toolkits etc) and get started. Happy sweater-ing!
