Pandas get into the Sweater Day spirit WWF Canada February 11, 2011 Share: Share This Page: Share with Facebook Share via Twitter Share via Linkedin Share in email Our communications maven Riannon John and her family had been busy baking a huge batch of sweater-shaped cookies to share with everyone on our team. They were as delicious as they were adorable – and got everyone thinking about National Sweater Day, which is coming up on February 17. (c) Riannon John/WWF-Canada We got a sneak peak at some fabulous sweaters at our fashion show last week. You can bid on these sweaters from Canadian designers on eBay until February 16 – proceeds will go to WWF-Canada. WWF pandas across the country are getting in the spirit, too. Our St. Albert office will be hosting a party for everyone in their building, inviting them to warm up with sweaters and a big pot of chili. On Facebook and Twitter, our supporters have been spreading the word to their family, friends and coworkers. It’s a fun campaign with a serious message about energy conservation, so we’re thrilled to see so many people taking part. Are you participating in National Sweater Day at home, at school or at work? We want to hear about it – and don’t forget to take pictures!
