Tell Me Tuesdays: Your childhood and nature WWF Canada June 21, 2011 Share: Share This Page: Share with Facebook Share via Twitter Share via Linkedin Share in email As a kid growing up in our nation’s capital, I got a job as soon as I started high school and then bought a bike with my first few paychecks. In the summer, I rode that bike every weekend, right around the whole city (its a pretty small place). I’d stop in whatever green space I wanted to enjoy a break and all the green around me. Then, I’d get back on, into the sunshine (or rain), and ride to the next spot that took my fancy. Let me know what outing in nature is your fondest from childhood. I’ll shout out my favourite comment in next week’s Tell Me Tuesdays post, so keep the inspiring thoughts coming! (c) iStockphoto.com Last Week: We didn’t get many comments last week about eco-celebs. Are there no other celebrities doing their part for the environment other than Leonardo DiCaprio? Leave your thoughts at the above link if you think of somebody.
