HELP US TURN DOWN THE VOLUME OF UNDERWATER NOISE

In the darkness of the underwater world, marine species use sound to sense their environment. But the naturally occurring songs, clicks and whistles that they rely on to search for food, care for their young, socialize and mate, are being drowned out by the rising human-made racket.

To help raise awareness on this critical issue and provide a forum for learning, idea exchange and further discussion, WWF-Canada hosted a series of webinars on a variety of topics related to underwater noise. These webinar sessions were recorded, and we are happy to share the recordings and slides from these webinars as well as a few additional resources to further enhance knowledge on this issue.
